Bench Seating

I am so excited that bench seating in dining rooms is making a comeback! This is great news since our living room/dining room area is one big space that makes two not-so-big spaces. Not to mention I really like the different textures and fabrics this allows us to incorporate. I found a few pictures with bench seating that might work in our place.

Our current plan is to knock out a closet in the dining area since we're building another closet by the new front entrance.  This gives us an extra three feet. Three feet helps but it will still be a bit tight.

So the plan is for Brian to pull out his carpentry skills and build us some nice seating which will give us the space we need without compromising the amount of people who can enjoy sitting at the table!
