Wall colors are always difficult for me. By the time I find a paint swatch I like, purchase a sample to try, then paint multiple walls, I don't even recognize the color. And most often I don't even like it. So I end up repeating the whole process again. Which can get expensive. And takes a whole bunch of time.
So I got excited when I noticed this wall color. The house had a very similar style to the look we're going for with the remodel. Walnut floors, white kitchen exterior cabinets with a cherry wood center island, and big windows for lots of light.
So you can imagine my excitement when the lady informed me she knew what color it was! Drumroll please....
Bleeker Beige (HC-80) by Benjamin Moore!
Here is the description from Benjamin Moore's website: The
cool versatility of this mid-toned buff makes it perfect as both an attractive
primary hue and a great complementary color in any room.
And as I sit here, just looking at the color sample above, I know why painting interior walls is so difficult. The walls at that home didn't look anything like the above! The walls were much lighter with a cooler hue.

But I give up and am going to go with it. Bleeker Beige here we come - regardless whatever color you eventually look in my home!
